How you make an impact

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Network Engineer to join our talented team in developing and maintaining our Network solutions. As Senior Network Engineer you will play a crucial key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing our network architecture and solution. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients. We follow Agile development practices, fostering collaboration, flexibility, and rapid iteration to deliver value to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Architecture: Lead the design and architecture of innovative advanced IP and transport network solutions, aligning with business requirements and best industry practices.

  • Implementation and Integration: Oversee the deployment and integration of network systems, ensuring seamless operation and minimal downtime.

  • Optimization and Troubleshooting: Proactively monitor and optimize network performance, swiftly diagnosing and resolving complex issues to maintain optimal functionality.

  • Security: Implement robust security measures to protect network integrity, data, and resources against emerging threats.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, and operations, to support business initiatives and drive technological advancements.

  • Documentation and Training: Develop comprehensive documentation and provide training to Ops and Dev Ops engineers and other stakeholders to ensure consistent knowledge sharing and adherence to standards.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in network engineering with a focus on IP and transport networks.

  • Education: Bachelor's or Mater degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) are highly desirable.

  • Technical Skills:

    • In-depth knowledge of IP networking, including routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS).

    • Proficiency in a major programming language (e.g., C, C++, Python). Experience with Rust programming is a plus.

    • In-depth experience operating Linux servers, including nftables firewalls.

    • Experience with telecommunications industry standards and protocols is an advantage.

    • Proficiency in network security practices and tools.Familiarity with network automation and orchestration tools.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

    • Self-motivated and proactive attitude towards learning and professional development.
