CEO Martin Manniche Named Finalist for EY’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Second Consecutive Year

We’re proud to share that our fearless leader and CEO, Martin Manniche, has been selected as a finalist for EY’s Entrepreneur Of The Year Award for the second consecutive year. Martin was selected as a finalist by a panel of independent judges looking for regional, national, and global entrepreneurs who are building and leading successful, growing and dynamic businesses.

Martin founded Greenwave Systems to solve the three main challenges to connected services: interoperability, security, and scalability — all of which we’ve not only mastered, but also helped define for the entire industry. Our technology resides in 8 million+ endpoints ranging from the quantum gateway to wearables to connected lightbulbs. In the past year, we acquired a real-time visual edge analytics company to grow our AXON Platform and doubled our valuation, which is now worth well over half a billion dollars, reigning as one of the few players in IoT with expertise spanning hardware, system-on-a-chip (SoC), software, industrial design, and service implementation.

The EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Award recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellent and extraordinary success in areas such as financial performance, innovation and commitment to their businesses and communities. Now in its 31st year, the program has expanded to recognize business leaders in over 145 cities and more than 60 countries throughout the world. Past leaders have disrupted industries, created new product categories and successfully brought innovation and technology to traditional industries. The program has honored the inspirational leadership of such entrepreneurs as Mike Morhaime of Blizzard Entertainment, William Wang of Visio, Tony Hsieh of Zappos, and more. We’re honored to have Martin recognized among so many other notable business luminaries in Orange County.
